Temporary bespoke Crowns
At Good Hair Collective, we’re not just about providing solutions for hair thinning and loss; we’re about creating a sanctuary for individuals navigating the complex world of hair thinning and loss. Nestled in the heart of our services is a bespoke solution that marries craftsmanship with empathy: custom-designed Crown Extensions (Hair Toppers) exclusively designed by Christen Barrs. Here, we don’t just offer hair solutions; we provide a pathway to rediscovering your confidence, crafted with meticulous care and understanding.
Bespoke Crown Extensions: What You Need to Know
In a world where quick fixes and standard solutions are the norms, we take a different approach. Every individual has unique hair needs, preferences, and challenges. Recognizing this, Christen Barrs specializes in creating Crown Extensions and Hair Toppers that are as unique as you are. Whether you’re facing thinning hair, seeking volume at the crown, or simply desiring a new look, our custom-made pieces are designed with your specific goals in mind.
The Importance of Going Custom
Let’s talk about why a bespoke approach matters. Hair thinning and loss are deeply personal experiences, and one-size-fits-all solutions rarely address the root of the issue or offer the most flattering results. By choosing a custom-designed piece, you’re not just getting a hair topper; you’re receiving a creation that matches your hair color, texture, density, and style—ensuring a seamless blend with your natural hair. This level of personalization can dramatically enhance your overall appearance and, more importantly, how you feel about yourself.

The Journey: A Step-by-Step Guide
Embarking on the path to acquiring a Temporary Crown at Good Hair Collective is a journey marked by meticulous care, personalized attention, and the excitement of transformation. Let’s walk through the steps together, ensuring you know exactly what to expect and how we’re here to support you every step of the way.
-
Think of our first meeting as the foundation of our journey together. Here, we’ll dive into the heart of your hair aspirations—identifying the challenges you’re facing, envisioning your desired look, and determining the best method to bring this vision to life. It’s a collaboration from the get-go, ensuring that your voice is heard and your needs are front and center. Once we’ve charted the course, a deposit will secure your hair and officially start the design process.
-
Next, we enter the realm of precision and personalization. Creating a mold of your scalp is a critical step—it’s how we ensure your crown fits not just well, but perfectly. This is also where we design your crown’s appearance, from its style to texture to its color, making sure every detail aligns with your vision. This stage is about getting every detail just right, ensuring that your crown will feel as good as it looks.
-
Transparency is key in our partnership. Once we have the design mapped out, I’ll provide you with the exact pricing. This is where you’ll have full visibility over the investment you’re making in yourself. You’ll sign off on the design and the price, solidifying our shared plan and setting the wheels in motion for the creation of your crown.
-
Good things take time, and your custom crown is no exception. The creation process can take anywhere from 5 to 7 months. While it may seem like a lengthy wait, rest assured the outcome will be well worth it. This period of anticipation is just a small chapter in your larger journey toward transformation.
-
It’s the day we’ve all been waiting for—when your crown arrives! We’ll set up a preview appointment for you to see your crown for the first time. This is an opportunity for any final adjustments needed, including a perfect color match to your current hair, ensuring everything is just right.
-
Installation day is when your vision finally comes to life. We’ll fit your crown, making any necessary adjustments to ensure it looks and feels just right, alongside any additional services you might need. It’s more than just an appointment; it’s the day you step into a new chapter of confidence.
-
Your journey doesn’t end with installation. Two weeks later, we invite you back for a check-in and lesson on maintaining your new look.
Around six months after your installation, we’ll discuss preparing for your replacement crown, ensuring your look stays fresh and aligned with your evolving style.
Remember, we’re in this process together throughout this entire process. From the initial consultation to your follow-up visits, our goal is to ensure you feel supported, confident, and utterly thrilled with your new look. This journey is about more than just hair—it’s about discovering and embracing the most authentic version of yourself.
At Good Hair Collective, we’re more than just a salon; we’re a community of individuals passionate about empowering you through personalized hair solutions. Let us help you rediscover the joy of feeling fully yourself, with a crown crafted just for you.
