Also included in the application is useful information such as general cost estimates and the necessity for regular extension upkeep, providing a comprehensive understanding about the responsibilities before you make an appointment for a consultation.

At Good Hair Collective, we truly value the importance of a face-to-face consultation with our clients. This is why you'll have your in-person consultation with Christen, our Master Extension Artist. Christen will dedicate this time to listening to your concerns and desires, providing you with an opportunity to express your hair goals. This direct interaction is invaluable as it allows her to understand and assess your hair's unique characteristics including its texture, color, and scalp density, which photos sometimes fail to accurately represent. This comprehensive evaluation forms the foundation for creating a custom hair plan tailored just for you. The session is charged at $65, which will be applied towards your extensions on the day of their application. For our out-of-town guests, we offer a FaceTime consultation, the process will be similar without the ability to provide an exact quote.

When you're ready to embark on your exciting hair transformation with extensions, we ask for a 50% deposit to secure your reservation. This deposit is non-refundable.

Once the deposit is received, your extension application is scheduled. If color services are also part of the session, there are usually two scheduling options. Your color service could be set 1-2 weeks before the extension application or everything could be scheduled for the same day. The time it takes to confirm your booking depends on the length of the appointment and the availability of both you and your stylist.

During your consultation, we select the perfect color match for your hair. Occasionally, a separate appointment may be required, especially if you color your hair at a different salon or if your color may fade before the application date. Once we receive your hair, we invite you to our studio for a complimentary 15-minute session to ensure an impeccable color match.

This is the day you have been eagerly waiting for, the day that your beautiful hair extensions will be installed. We totally understand the whirlwind of emotions you might be facing this day- a cocktail of nerves and excitement. But fret not, we've got you covered!

Get ready for an adventure. Make sure you come prepared to kick back, relax, and enjoy some quality time for yourself. We recommend you wear your comfiest clothes and bring along your favorite drink. You might be here for a while, so you might also want to bring some entertainment - be it a riveting book, an engaging podcast or your favorite Netflix series.

And once the process is complete, prepare to be awestruck by your transformation. Your new hair extensions would only be crying out for one thing- a night out on the town! So, remember to plan a fantastic night out to unleash your new stunning look to the world. This new hair is not to be hidden away, and you will indeed want to go out and show it off.

All extension methods (except Halos and temporary Crown Extensions) require a degree of maintenance. When you decide to go ahead with extensions, we kindly ask for your commitment to the prescribed maintenance schedule. This is crucial to ensure the longevity and quality of your extensions and the health of your natural hair. Most methods suggest a maintenance session every 6-8 weeks.
