Doing Our Part for the Environment
Happy Earth Month! Conserving resources and supporting the well-being of our planet is important to us—and we know it’s important to you, too. That’s why we’re ALWAYS seeking simple ways to reduce our environmental impact. We firmly believe that the little things you incorporate into your everyday routine can make a HUGE difference over time!
At our salon, we take environmentally responsible practices seriously. Here are a few practices that we have incorporated into our salon:
We use Salon Scale to monitor color usage and eliminate waste, protecting our stylists and improving air quality.
We’ve also installed ECOHEADS low-flow water nozzles to save an impressive 780 bottles of water per day per basin! We understand the importance of incorporating clean water for scalp and hair health, which is why it is always used on all clients.
Even our towels are responsibly sourced: we only purchase compostable towels and outsource laundry for our capes to Happy Hamper to reduce water and energy usage.
It doesn't stop there - all products used are natural and low-tox from reputable companies.
To top it off, we donate 1% of our profits to Arundel Rivers Foundations who promote healthy rivers through habitat protection and education programs, ensuring everyone can access clean water!
Earth Month may pass, but we at Good Hair Collective are committed to sustainability every single day. We believe you can have amazing-looking hair and be kind to the planet simultaneously; it's about being conscious with just a few small changes in your everyday routine. From our partnerships with companies who share our values to consistently revealing the best eco-friendly products for your locks — we take great pride in introducing these exciting and environmentally friendly trends.
From all of us here at Good Hair Collective, thank you for helping make our planet a better place, no matter how small - because even small actions really do matter. Happy Earth Month!
